Reflection...
Elementary: I loved Nickelodeon shows - Rugrats was amazing to me.
I played a lot of Neopets in middle school. I made a lot of online friends. I learned how to build websites. I knew how to use Photoshop.
High school: I watched a lot of reality tv shows and things from MTV. Real World. Made. Cribs. Sweet 16. Laguna Beach.. you name it. I listened to a lot of music too, when they air the music videos early in the morning on VH1. I watched Bill Cosby, Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, I read a lot of teen romance books lol. I was obsessed with Sisterhood with traveling pants and ya know, girly teen crap. Lol.
College: I watched a lot of Project Runway, Americas Next Top Model.. or maybe this was in high school lol. I was very obsessed with winning from contests and giveaways. I also got a lot of freebies. I watched a lot of Keeping up with the Kardashians.. and last but not least. I watched A BUTT LOAD of youtube videos. Mostly makeup gurus and was highly intrigued about makeup and beauty. But didn't really have the money or desire to pay for makeup things.
After my schooling career (lol)... lazy to continue

Day 5: Conservatory of Flowers & Boyhood
I went to the conservatory of flowers and watched Boyhood today.
Conservatory of Flowers was good. The building inside that houses the plants is really small! It was pretty humid, but that's okay! I wasn't bothered at all. I wish I got to read what kind of plants they are and what they do.
Boyhood-
I wanted to watch it because I am at this stage in my life where I don't know what is life all about. I am looking for answers. This movie depicts a character in the movie that goes through his childhood up until he's 18.
(cont) I'll write this later..

Day 4: Plan
I'll be coming up with a plan, a personal growth journey, and everything else.
My plan that I will complete in a year-
Move out (somewhere in LA/San Diego or anywhere in SoCal!)
Go somewhere out of my comfort zone
Learn programming so I won't worry about jobs and stuff (taking that certificate)
Learn languages to spice things up (gotta think about myself as some character and those skills will help me be unstoppable!)
Start a Youtube channel to talk to people in the community (maybe beauty/comedy skits related)
And if I have more time, dabble into other things and explore.
additional-
*maybe find a boyfriend
*look amazingly sexy
I think that's it, I need to keep things simple.
It will be hard.. I know. Because I need to pay for the bills and rent... ahh.

Day 3: Alan Watts, Ice Cream and Yes Man
Hey! I got a theme today. I'm watching Alan Watts on Youtube and his talk sends shivers down my spine. It's so powerful.
My thoughts..
Society has implanted everyone to dangle into this rich professional career. We must work hard to get to that destination. We start from kindergarten to prepare for 1st grade.. then 2nd grade. Basically it makes us think that we will be happier in the future. We have to sacrifice the present to reach that happiness later. But when we reach that destination.. we still feel the same. Do we still feel happy reaching it? Plus, what's next? I mean really what's next when you reach that destination?? More money? More items? Keep pushing yourself for random stuff? Items purchased wear off a lot. Happiness is so fleeting. It's like this pursuit of happiness, like people fight for it and never ever find it. Chasing for "happiness" when they forget to live in the present. Live now-- Life's a party! But still think about your plan to the future.
Here's some quotes,
"The most dangerous risk of all: the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later."
"Making plans for the future is of use only to people who are capable of living completely in the present"
I really like this Youtube video,

Sweet.. There's a new ice cream shop opening up near me today .. Woot =9
Update: I got my free ice cream sandwich. I cringed reall bad when I was in line. Of course, the line was long as expected but there were soo many high school people. I felt like I'm going back in time hating my life more. lol. Then, there was some dude talking to people in line, you know, those bubbly and energetic people.. and I'm like oh hall naw. I was like Oh please don't talk to me. lol. Ok maybe I'm anti-social or what. But too bubbly and energetic makes me uncomfortable haha.Oh and about the ice cream sandwich.. it's just like any ice cream sandwich lol. I think it's the promotions and all the hype that brings people in. You know, marketing things.
I also watched "Yes,Man" movie. Eeek! I loved it! Zooey Deschannel made it amazing. Moral of the story.."The world's a playground. You know that when you are a kid, but somewhere along the way everyone forgets it." - Allison

Day 2 Project
We had a garage sale at work today. It was an exhilarating experience. I never felt so happy before. I was actually involved and present in life. Lots and lots of Asian old women that were dying for those cheap towels. Lol. It got so insane that we had to close it down and in the middle of closing the door, this lady was like "WAITTT When are you guys going to open up again?" Like holy shitt. I never felt so alive seeing all these excited people that want to spend money for our things. Damn. I know the feeling when people want to spend money and feel happy with their purchases. I love getting involved in a community like that. Maybe I didn't make a huge difference to the world, but its still something. I love helping people. Seriously compared to our old warehouse, this was like freakin' miracle. I realize something, the more money someone makes, the more of an impact they make on someones life or make an impact on a ton of peoples lives, and in a way, it gives a sense of how much involvement in the community. The idea that someone contributed so much to the world does really feel powerful and amazing. But even a little feels amazing. I can't imagine how the CEO feels. I bet flippin' amazing because he has made a large impact to many, many customers and in return he can provide a great life for his children.
I've always been very happy when helping people. No matter how small. For example, when I was in middle school/elementary, I taught little kids with their homework & it made me happy. When I was babysat, I was the one who was flippin taking care of the baby there, not the other way around. WTF right? I was ridiculed & was put to shame, never ever getting any reciprocation. I have the burning desire.. to help people. I like to take care of them. Is it just me?? Hmm. I don't know. I never approached my school material as a way for me to help people.. but I should start thinking that way. I just did it just to get good grades and do minimal amount of work.. I never cared. Basically I retained the info for the test and forget it after.
Basically, money is a reflection of how much you bring to the world. It's not just money, it's the idea that you left a mark in the world and made a huge positive impact to the world. Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I want it to be challenging. I don't want to be spoonfed. I will work hard to get to my happiness and live a long life.
I had done a ton of self reflection at work and everywhere I go. A lot of observations. Well I'm going to eat and start blogging a bit more about my ideas and my progress.
Some books I want to read later,
The Wisdom of Insecurity by Alan Watts.
Buddha in Blue Jeans: An Extremely Short Simple Zen Guide to Sitting Quietly
Become What You Are
Movies
Yes man
One of my dreams, I want to inspire young girls. I'm not sure what. But I think it would feel amazing to help them.. I dont know? I feel like I can connect and be able to share some advice to them! haha.

Day 1 Project
I'm going to post my days in this blog of anything that I have done- what I liked and disliked that day. I'm kind of lazy posting pictures but maybe later. I have them on my phone. I realized how everyone likes to document their days on this earth, maybe it might help me too with this blog so I can find myself. I like stuff, but I just don't even track what I like. It just goes and I don't realize it.
So nothing spectacular today. Now that isn't good to start off right? But there's always better days.
I just went through Fate/stay night visual novel, which honestly is sooo slow. Where's the romance?! Too many battle scenes. I wonder where it's going to get real interesting.
I started reading the SQL Textbook Chapter 1 for a certificate that I'm going to pursue at community college. Hopefully, this certificate will compliment my degree. If not, I have other choices that I can do with little schooling. Perhaps accounting will be my last resort as I only need like 6 or 7 classes since I already took all the core business classes. If all else fails, computer science degree. Lol. If that doesn't work.. masters degree. Or librarian degree. Seriously. Or entrepreneur, I'd love to own a business someday. My mind is really all over the place. I need to keep taking classes if I really am not learning or growing anything with my job.
I then started watching movie trailers. Yup, my mind wanders off while I read things.
I really want to watch "If I stay" with Chloe Moretz, "Love, Rosie" with Lilly Collins, "Very Good Girls" with Dakota Fanning (these are all teenage romance movies though, don't seem to have movies that are relevant to my age group!)
But I really want to watch "What if" with Daniel Radcliffe (this is a lot more like for my age group, can't wait to watch this one)
I like chick flicks. Gottsa have the romance and dramatic slice of life scenes. lol. Oh and yeah I watch because I am familiar with these people. :p
Oh! I watched "Violet & Daisy" movie cause of course.. Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls. lol. I don't like it too much, but I did like the idea of having a partner in crime. haha. Um the rating is 5/10. I didn't follow the story too much. The two girls got a job killing people so they can pay for dresses. Yeah, not my cup of tea.
I'm going to end the day reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle" & read chapter 2 of the SQL Book. I am loving the book so far. It's just so crazy to feel like it's pertaining to me in a way. I read it for a bit months ago, never finished it. I just didn't seem to relate it too much. I think as I experience more things, I approach material in a different mindset.
Tomorrow, I will be working. I didn't work today cause well, nothing there for me to do. I felt offended doing physical labor work so that's why I'm not working everyday.. sigh I don't know. I thought my degree should mean something. I am amazed at how people can go to work and school at the same time, how do people have time to just breathe?
Reminder: Pay the tuition fee by the 3rd.
